So how is the timeline going now? Do we have any hints about how the new games are in the timeline?
Hisui
>anywhere between 50 and 150 years
RBY - RSE
>3 years
GSC - DPP
>anywhere between 3 to 6 Years
BW
>2 years
BW2 - XY
>?? Years, Red and Blue seem to be in their 20s though

Ignore autistic mega timelines and multiverse shit. Yes we know there are multiple timelines but we all know that a version of gen 1 occurs first at the same time as a version of gen 3, which is then succeeded by a version of gen 2 three years later etc.
We can pretty much draw a straight line from Gen 1 to Gen 7. The BW timeskip is vague but there's an old team rocket NPC in Unova who got married after leaving Johto and has a small child so the gap could be somewhere between 3 to 6 years.
Where do gen 8 and 9 fit? Common wisdom says they would continue chronologically.
