What's the message?

Gens 1-3 were all very solid and clear in their environmental message
Gen 5 was clear in its morals

What's the message? What morals do gen 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 try to pass on?

Gen 4: don't fuck with powers beyond your control, lest you end up a pawn for Satan
Gen 6: do not continue the mistakes of the past, their weapons and vengeance is not worth destroying the world for
Gen 7: be kind to your family, but understand their differences, and know they will never be like you

I'd say 8 would be not to be hasty and rush considering that Chairman Rose wanted to solve an energy crisis that wouldn't have happened for 1,000 years.

Gen 5 is the worst of all, it’s mostly just a Kanto rip off with the big bad just being a disguised team rocket, I was just mashing A button until it’s over and finally breathe out a sigh of relief when it’s finished, like thank goodness It’s done, I don’t have to play this shit ever again.

I'd also say Gen 8 it's partly about passing the torch on. I think Chairman Rose is a glory hound and the equivalent of an older generation holding onto power longer than they should.

Rose loses interest in The Gym Challenge only when his newly endorsed trainer (Bede) is disqualified. Then does everything to have his Champion (Leon) to be the one to solve the energy crisis ASAP. If Rose had waited then his champion wouldn't have solved the energy crisis, Leon's would have.
