>>51760473I guess instead of “evoke”, I should’ve said that it’s meant to subtly represent a gun. The cleverness of Remoraid is that it’s a seemingly plain fish with a cool underlying concept. Between its body parts that subtly represent different parts of a gun (namely a revolver), and its dex entries that allude to its underlying nature, the Pokémon can be considered a “puzzle” of sorts. And I personally can appreciate that, how it doesn’t feel the need to be too on the nose about what it is. I think that’s really cool.
