It's shown across various forms of media that Pokemon can't seriously damage or kill humans easily, pretty consistently too, and if anything most humans could just manhandle them.
The forcefields aren't really a counterargument, if you're going to a live sporting event you wouldn't want a fireball or lightning bolt to hit you or your kid even if it's not lethal.
