Having romance is fine but shouldn’t be the main focus. The God damn adventures manga does it all the time. And it’s not like prior episodes haven’t had a romantic subplot before even it’s played for comedy

Adventures is nothing like the Ashime. The issue to me is the constant regressing of age/skill depending on the series, which makes any romantic "plot" kinda pointless.
