>>51781618I like how this entire retarded thread ignores that:
- Levels in battle has to do with the pacing of the game and nothing to do with the lore/story
- Red is the only player character who does shit outside of his own game
- Red is the only participant in the PWT who is actually introduced with his strength in battle complimented
- Beating Red gives you the legend ribbon- a ribbon for setting a legendary record. No other player character gets any mention of being such a huge deal
- Ranking player characters who have a chance to beat him over him kiss fucking retarded. It's like saying that because Spiderman lost his first fight against Green Goblin he is weaker and always will be. With such a statement Cynthiafags here are hitting themselves in the toe because that would mean she's the weakest champion and Diantha, Alder, Iris are all better than her because they can be defeated in only one Gen while Cynthia can be in three.
- Red is the only Champion to be referred to as a Living Legend and is one of only two "Legendary Trainers," the other being Mustard and one of the only two "Battle Legends" the other being Blue Oak.
- Most PCs in Masters either look up to Red or are afraid of him. You also have these player characters losing to randos any other time. Nate, guy who apparently beat all Champions as well as Red, loses to fucking Nanu. And then you have Red beating Ethan in a rematch and being the only character in the entire game apart from the player's party who gets to the finals. Hilda, Hilbert, Ethan, etc never get that far
- None of the player characters who could beat Red actually have their victory canonized. Devs officially state that Ethan vs Red is up in the air. "muh credits scene" won't save you when devs officially said it and Red beats Ethan in the official spin-off where their power levels are canon.
- Masters Cynthia is literally afraid of Red
