Is HOME connected from day one?
If not, I most likey won't get the game until then. If for some reason I get it, I would just do whatever the bare minimum needed to unlock mystery gifts so I don't miss any stupid timed events and be forced to use PKhex.

I have a few shiny gen 2 mons that are getting evos in S/V so I refuse to partake in the adventure until I have atleast my shiny mankey and lavitar to join me.

Wherever I end up starting, I am going to walk in a straight line in the opposite direction until I hit an impassable roadblock or I run into Pokemon too strong to fight/catch. I did this exact thing with PLA and it was really fun, going in a straight line until I ran into a level 40 Alpha Rapidash that blew my ass out is one of the most memorable experiences I had with that game. I am absolutely going to prioritize exploration and catching Pokemon above everything else.

I didn't want to accept it, either. You can go anywhere, but unless there's a low level spawn in the late game areas, you can't catch anything. I also hate that the spaniard who wrote the article thinks it's a good thing, dumbass can go fuck themselves.
