The final scene of the Pokemon anime will be Ash and his husband, both in their 30s, standing in front of Prof. Oaks gravestone. They both leave flowers in front of the grave and walk away into the sunset. As the camera pans towards the sky a Mew flies into frame and then turns towards the audeince. Dramatic orchestral music then plays with the words "THE END" superimposed over the screen. A dramatic ballad written by Paul Mccartney then plays as the credits roll.
