it needs a little something more. a feature that will make it stand out in the ecosystem. just being a dragon doesn't cut it these days.
if it's me i'd make the horns more rugged - as if stalagmites of pure obsidian. and the flaws of the final form i'd also make more rugged. as it evolves it gets a sturdy layer of obsidian over it's most vulnerable parts.
