Why haven't they made a Battle Simulator since PBR? I think the concept would work better now than ever before. The game can be free to play and you could link your party/box from main series games to it via the cloud or whatever. I think the idea has a lot of potential today.

Well no shit but thats besides the point. the biggest criticisms of PBR were how bare bones it was and how much it relied on you owning one of the DS games for the other Pokemon but I think it would be more of a non-issue if they released it as a f2p title or at the very least something super cheap plus the cloud concept. In some ways I think the game was ahead of its time

Because the mainline games have too much fat, if you don't care about story and shit and just want battles in high fidelity I think it would work. They could make the competitive experience more streamline. plus I miss having the announcer give commentary on the battle in realtime like an actual sports match

The Stadium/Colosseum games were made to have 3D Pokémon on the main Nintendo console. The Wii U was a hot pile of garbage and of course the follow up has the games in 3D so there's no reason to make a separate game.
