>>51805337On an episode-to-episode basis, the writing has been masterful. There's only been one episode all series that's felt like a lazy rehash (Salamandamon) and the 50th episode airs next week. They've consistently done an excellent job of finding unique ways to apply the Reference Book to horror situations.
In terms of characters, again, the writing has been brilliant. Hiro, Ruli and Kiyo are all likeable and easily the smartest, most tactical cast of the series. Their Digimon are the most deeply characterized partners since Impmon back in Tamers.
People need to get over the fact that Ghost Game is not another Adventure clone and stop getting mad at it for not being one. It's an episodic series primarily and since it will be running for a long time, it doesn't have to speedrun the plot all at once. As long as the episodes continue to be entertaining, it's not a problem.
