I wanted to but I just think that S tier should be only be home to the top 3 Pokémon games of all time. Personally I like Emerald more than platinum.

The only saving grace is that it’s a switch game, also the fact that’s it’s an original game and not a remake and not a 2d black and white 8-bit game that’s it.

I don’t agree with you on Crystal, HGSS exists therefore Crystal can’t be on the same tier as it since it’s a “worse” version of the same game. That being said Crystal is still a great Pokémon game. Why do you not like Gen 4 that much though?

I still don’t understand how people legitimately think SM is better than SwSh, or even USUM vs. SwSh + DLC. In my mind it must be because they‘re only looking at quantity over quality. It’s actually depressing that a basically unfinished game is somehow better than a much more finished game.

Gamefreak said that SWSH would have high quality animations since half the Pokémon and half of all moves were not available. The animations are exactly the same as USUM.

Wtf? Are you retarded BW2 and BW have the best story in series. Emerald’s and HGSS story isn’t even horrible either their good too. And even if you don’t like the story either game in S tier individually have more content the SWSH and BDSP combined. And their difficulty is not even comparable. The S tier games are way more difficult that SWSH, especially with BW2 challenge mode. Hell even easy mode is more difficult than SWSH. You’re just a disingenuous faggot.

Gen 7 as a whole is in my opinion not that good hence I put in the more lower tiers. But SWSH are incomplete games themselves, just more incomplete than SM. At least SM had all Pokémon available and more original gimmicks and charm. Although that’s not saying much.
