Sure, the Pokemon should take priority over the environments most of us will only ever see once, but that's just it. It makes repeat playthroughs all the more jarring when the Pokemon and their animations stand out so much compared to the environment.
It doesn't matter how good UR5 props look when dropped into OoT Hyrule. They'll look out of place.
