I bought a Japanese copy of Pearl and it had a file on it from February 2011. She is named Moe and she apparently quit on her way to Pastoria with three badges. She saved for the last time in front of the trophy in the Trophy Garden guy's mansion.
She has a Lv.30 Monferno named Ume (Plum), Lv.31 Staravia named Konnyaku (Konjac), Lv.32 Luxray named Raimu (Lime), Lv.10 Buneary named Wataame (Cotton Candy) and Lv.9 Buizel named Kasutera (Castella). Also the Happiny egg you get from the Hiker. The mons in her PC are a few early game ones so I think she was a kid who just used the first three mons she caught and ignored the rest. I've hatched the egg and named it Ichigo (Strawberry) to keep with her original naming theme.
I am going to take Moe to the Pokemon League and finally fulfill her destiny after she was left to rot for 11 years.
