Why is BDSP so universally hated and underrated around here? In my opinion, the game did a lot of things right for Sinnoh that DP and even Platinum didn't do:
>No more dual screen bullshit
>Removed HMs
>Reinvigorated the Underground by adding Pokemon Hideouts and allowing us to manipulate the Pokemon selection with Pokemon Statues
>Best Gym Leader rematches ever
>Best Pokemon League rematches ever
>Hardest Battle Tower ever (with Gym Leaders, E4 members, Team Galactic members, etc)
>Trainer Customization
>Pokemon following you
>DS Sounds item
Personally, my only issue with BDSP is the lack of a Multi Battle option in the Battle Tower (SwSh did that first), but overall I think it's a good game with an already solid foundation thanks to DPPt.
