>>51831931Gen I there was a bit of a bump but honestly, the elite 4 where kind of shit. Loreli was the hardest since she'd a lot of good Pokémon, but if you'd a fast electric or a mon with bulky special, you could take her down. Bruno is shit, can be wiped with fly or psychic and an Onix that late in the game was a joke. Agehta was much the same, psychic or Earthquake her team to death. Lance might get in a lucky shot but a lot of his moves were gimmicky high risk/reward. He was a bit harder in Yellow since his mons have better moves but over all, not too hard. Blue/Green what ever, well you've seen everyone post his Pokémon's move set 100 times. So taking out the elite 4 with mons with good moves or type advanges was easy even if you were 15 levels behind them
Gen II was a lot harder to tackle Red. Best way to grind was the elite 4 but the highest level mon was Lance's 50 Dragonite and once yer mons are in the 50s, exp from the elite 4 isn't much. You could cheese Red with Luigia and Ho-oh and Snorlax but that's a very boring wya to play
