I had a cat that yearned for grapes, even though (1) they have no nutritional value to a cat, (2) the skin of grapes is poisonous to cats, and (3) cats are supposedly incapable of tasting sweetness. I'm not sure why that cat was so crazy about grapes, mandarin oranges, and other fruits.
