For me its Keldeo movie.
Maybe is not VERY ADULT, but Its still a solid movie about young hero trying its best and learning a lot. Bonus points for Ash not being MC and no bad guy

The movies were good until the Darkrai one, but it's been downhill since. Need to break up the stagnation.

yeah spell of Unown was also extremely kino I will probably watch that next havent seen that one in years. I dont remember it being that good but I watched Arceus and the Jewel of life quite a few times when I was a kid just because I liked seeing Arceus and the creation trio

I wonder what the Arceus movie could have been had it spent less time on front-loaded exposition and more time on the big battle or the ancient Poke-Greece bit, I liked what we got of those. Kind of the reverse of the Mewtwo movie.

Pokemon movies stopped being Kino after the 5th one because thats when TPC gave up on proper western distributors and western theatrical releases and every movie made after feels more like a made for DVD movie
