Honestly the best part is how you never even have to talk to this NPC. This is how far the Discord has to reach to pretend Kanto pandering started in Gen 5, not Gen 6. Because a single NPC you never have to interact with is absolutely the same as the numerous other examples we have from Gen 6+.

It started with Diamond & Pearl. Only 150 Pokemon in the regional Pokedex like in my Kanto games (it was a way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise at the time) and it was mostly gen 1 shitmons instead of the new ones: Geodude, Tentacool, Machop and Zubat are everywhere and even more common than in R/S/E.

Retarded. This is like saying Tauros should evolve into Bouffalant. Luvdisc and Alomomola don't even have similar concepts. Luvdisc is as the name implies, related to love and references some fish that look like they kiss eachother. Alomomola is related to healing/caregiving and doesn't really reference anything in specific.

Out of the 106 Pokemon introduced in Gen 4, 29 of them were additions to existing lines (27%)
And of these 29, there was an even split between all 3 existing Gens with 10 for Kanto, 9 for Johto, and 10 for Hoenn
If Sinnoh released in the modern day all 29 would have gone to Kanto, hell there'd probably be even more new Kanto forms over new Sinnoh Pokemon
