Weird these weren't in Unova. But they had pandas for some fucking reason. Unova also has European Dragons for some reason. The thing that confuses me the most is the Trex Pokémon isn't in Unova but in Kalos. Unova has a random ass German Archaeopteryx mon. I just don't understand the thinking of the mon selection per region.

A region based on Flroida would actually be pretty cool. The few times I've visited it I noticed how diverse and interesting the wildlife is. The everglades are beautiful and full of diversity. The people are disgusting though. Would be funny to see how Pokémon interprets them.

Mr.Mime couldn't be found in the wild though. Kangaskhan can only be found in safari zones. Which could imply it's imported. Pangolins are atleast found in China. Which isn't Japan but close. Venusaur is also a frog. Pitcher plants are pretty common in Japanese gardens. Zebstrika lives out in the Unova wild for no fucking reason. They could have at the very least made it an invasive horse species america actually has.

There's some really cool shit you can do with an opossum Pokemon, too. Imagine a ghost/dark, Ghost/poison, or ghost/normal with tons of creepy ghost babies that resulted from people overreacting and killing them, despite them not being a threat (just like real opossums).

It looks cutesy and seems ambiguous to what it is, but when you focus on its silhouette and especially the backsprite it's clear that it's going for the mothman look. A much more interesting take than what more fakemon artists do of just a creepy Bug/Dark moth.
