That's retarded and pointless to make an entire new mainline game with QoL when you can only use them on less than half of the Dex. This is an entire generation not some tournament or side game
You earn the QoL so that you are forced to learn the basics and can appreciate the reward of QoL. People like you don't understand this because you blast through the game and most likely drop it in a week out of boredom. It collects dust as you've pretty much had everything given to so it just becomes something you pick up when an event or friend randomly pops up wanting to play.
Godforbid you have to work for something.

Fully agreed. Pokemon already has built in ways for making the game harder, such as providing them with actual movesets, proper held item usage, and more widespread usage of EVs and IVs
