It's a weird case because furries/trannies (the majority of this board) will often prefer mammals and reptiles over a bird. But the reptilian one seems to evolve into a less anthropomorphic version and the cat's final evo doesn't look very "promising" to them according to leaks.

We've seen lines grow in popularity cause of a the final evo like Greninja or Primarina. Whether a bad one can tank popularity is more debatable. A popular first stage will survive but clearly get stunted cause so many don't want the final evo. If the design was already less popular it is fucked instead of just being middling.

quaxly will be froakie 2.0 and become the "cool" one and most shilled. Right now it's the least favourite of the 3 fram almost every poll i've seen. I'm still leaning toward Fuecoco. I'm putting my autism to rest and not worrying about doubling up on types. Unless its final evo looks like absolute shit and Sprig's is way better, I'm gonna stick with my first choice.
