Are shinies you spent hours hunting for legit? You just reset/encounter enough for the game to give you want wanted.
Are Shiny Charm/Let's Go/PLA/Go shinies legit? Sure the rates are way lower but they're still caught through normal means.
Are RNG'd shinies legit? Sure you didn't spend hours hunting it for and got exactly what RNGReporter told you you were going to get, but that's what your RNG seed could have given you if you stood around for 2 minutes and 23 seconds before using sweet scent.
Are GameShark/ Action Replay shinies legit? You still caught them.
Are injected shinies legit? The game's hack check says they are.
Are traded shinies legit? You didn't get it yourself.
