Daily events were one of the best parts of Johto games. Especially with the internet now, there's honestly no excuse for newer games to not have daily quests for players to do. Something like the Wild Area News, where you update it every day to get an objective to complete in order to get a special item or Pokemon.

Daily quests to catch a Pokemon that was cut from the game so you can get old mons back and have something to do at the same time every day would be based but also makes me sad because I know shitfreak would never in a million years do it.
