Well not really, blockchain is useful mainly due to the secure nature of it (in theory, in practice bad code can be exploited as always). You don't need security for fucking Pokemon data, UNLESS you want to monetize it and make an economy out of it which is the entire reason NFTs are always terrible.
You could argue anti-cheating would be another reason for security but do they care that much about that? They'd just use it for monetization 100%.

Look at games that tried to implement it, they were a disaster, I can see a future in wich they try to use Home subscription fees as receipts tied to Pokémon to determine value

Good point. HOME is just bad in so many ways it's actually hard to put down into words. Taking out the GTS from the actual games to try and haggle people for a premium fee for like two extra GTS slots when it should be like 10. And you can't do anything with your Pokemon inside the app compared to past shit like Pokemon Ranch.
