I think they did it on purpose to set off the uncanny valley trigger in us. They even introduce her feet first, panning her from bottom to top in order to showcase how lanky and tall she looks. Even the art itself attracts your attention to her polished shoes.

Well considering Khu was right about the Chestmon, I'm genuinely curious about this now. But Khu also said that Geeta is a robot. My guess it has something to do with the past/future/paradox plot. Maybe the male champion is a paradox of her or viceversa.
