Well I just fucked myself. Bought a new Switch, pressed "transfer data" and put everything including my profile on the new one. And I just realised that the Pokémon games have a different save file transfer system. I didn't even put the game in the console yet, just been transfering stuff from Home.

There any way whatsoever to recover what's in my party?

I think you put everything into home before migrating accounts to the new console. I'm not sure if cartridge vs digital makes a difference.

I was insanely lucky because my Pokémon Home was connected to everything, so I was able to transfer all of the boxed Pokémon out of there. But I still lost my party, which wasn't a big loss other than a shiny Mew and three others a friend gave to me.

shitendo has always hated it's conzoomers and screws them whenever possible. In older gens, you needed pokemon stadium, colosseum, gale to complete the dex or to store pokemon, you needed box and ranch.

Just e-mail your issue to Nintendo's customer service and they'll get back to you after the weekend. They'll either tell you where you've gone wrong and how to fix it, or they may be able to make fixes to your data directly their end. Everyone here is just going to tell you not to bother and tell you fairystories about how Nintendo loves to torture their customers because they've convinced themselves that inaction is the only smart option.

You might have a problem only if you haven't downloaded bank before the Nintendo store in 3DS went down
if you do, then next year you can just transfer from your pokemon bank to home since it's gonna be free to use after that

I've been in contact with their customer service many times, they've investigated and fixed issues for me in regards DLC being purchased and not installing correctly and they've extended the expiration date of Game Vouchers when they were a couple days too late for me to use them to purchase Splatoon 3. Why you've convinced yourself that they will refuse to help or completely ignore customers if they try to contact them is beyond me, because I really doubt you've ever attempted to yourself at any time in the past. Maybe you're happy to think there's a boogeyman in your life making you unhappy. Maybe give that a little think.

If you think Pokemon is bad, check Animal Crossing.

Pokemon at least lets you have separate saves on separate profiles. Animal Crossing will literally not let you have more than one town per console and has its own save transfer application, and you can only ever transfer a town once, ever.

You can definitely have the same user on multiple consoles, with one console being the main console and where all your purchases will be tied to (you can change this at any time)

The console you transferred everything to has most likely become your account's new main console. Even if the user is completely removed from the first console, you should still be able to sign in as an account on that Switch console and download and play your games on it. Because it's not your main console other users wouldn't have access to your games, but you still would.

So probably do this:
- Make a new account on your old switch (if your original is actually gone)
- Sign in to your Nintendo account on it.
- Download your Pokemon game from the eshop with this account.
- See if your save is there.
- Then go and transfer that save to the new console.

You could probably even just skip the third and fourth step, shouldn't be necessary.

Oh and be careful that you don't accidently make your old console your main console in the process of doing this. After you're done, go into your eshop settings on your new console and ensure it's the main console. If not, then do the steps required to make it that.

it's not that bad since I was able to access 99% of my mons through bank, I just lost the party mons

I think the only way you can get them is ask someone with bank on their 3DS to move your mons into your home account now
That can be done with no issue since the saves are in the cartridges

I made a retarded mistake, but it's a mistake any 9 year old would make, and there's no protection for it, no warning pop up or anything

I'll be waiting for Nintendo Support to say something but I think if I can't access it, they likely can't either
