Yes, they are a return to form after the gen 7&8 shit. These ones feel like they're returning to some of the Hoenn simplicity

Yes, it gives me a reason to catch multiples of the same mon. I also like to monotype and it gives me so much more flexibility with teams

Yes, I am looking forward to having PLA mobility and exploration in a mainline game. Plus I love the Let's Go mechanic and the split questlines.

Megas and Z moves can exist with one another but dynamax and terrastylize seem to be region specific all while cutting off the former two.

>no new megas for shitmons (Pidgeot, Kanga, Beedrill, Ampharos, Mawile where saved by megas)
>Z-moves that improve older mons and only usuable once per battle
>These two gimmicks also use up an item slot (barring the odd exception of MFug)
>Dynamax mons and terramons can still use items
