Still convinced they cut an identical middle evolution to pad out the Gmax roster. It's partially emerging from the apple, looks similar to both and could have become both, and the BST from Applin to Appletun/Flapple is such a jump that having a 3rd medianly statted middle stage is the only thing that makes sense.
