>>51899061it's the little things anon. there absolutely was more effort put into these games. the subtle sound design, and music changes. Speaking of, best music of any pokemon (core) game. (I'm looking at you Pokemon Trading Card Game. Your music isn't lost on me).
Creating a soft reboot for the first games, before expanding on the game for the second games, adding a whole lot content. Nooks and crannies all around the region to explore. animated sprites, 3D implementation of NDS hardware. Cinematic camera sweeps. An optional love interest to get pokemon with their Dream World Abilities, or Hidden Abilities. PWT bringing back gym leaders from previous games, as well as important trainers like Red. An attempt at creating a story, that worked better for BW then it did B2W2. Some of the most difficult battles with Ghetsis and the Shadow Triad, and a revamped team for Sinnoh's champion, making her even harder by giving her another pokemon with no weaknesses on her team. and boosting the levels of all of her pokemon.
Entree Missions creating an economy within the game where you always have trainers to battle at varying levels, so you don't have to grind on wild pokemon if you want to raise another team. Also item collection missions making shard hunting easier for having a large amount of move tutors teach your pokemon moves. Pass Powers being a reward for these completely optional missions, allowing you to increase prize money you recieve, increase shiny chances, or hatch eggs faster.
Compatibility planned for 3DS with the Dream Radar. Which was... meh. A way to get legendaries, I guess. And more hidden abilites, albeit for a limited amount of pokemon.
They just had more work put into them. If you've played them, and the games that came before it, I don't see how it isn't obvious to you.
