Pokemon isn't god-awful, the graphics ands animations are servicable and can occasiononally look amazing, But its the richest videogame franchise in the world, it can do a hell lot better. and even if people want to unironically use the "small indie company" excuse or claim that Nintendo has all the money, that just puts the blame on Nintendo for not feeding their Golden Goose.
Look a this shit, Falinks was made for Gen8 how is this remotely excusable. and judging by the Sandwich Gen9 won;t be much better.
