Most of the dragons were done really dirty by the flying animations. A lot happier with how he looks in battle now. Excited to see Dragonite too.

I think most Flying pokemon in general were.

I'm in the minority in that I liked Zard X's but the rest were really awkward. Hoping Skarmory gets a standing stance too.

There’s a back image of the box that still shows it’s gliding iirc, but it has a grounded model when outside of battle seen in trailers? Hard to say

Did they change the lore then?
Because GF intended for it to be flying all the time, hence when they remake the models each game they have it flying.

Yeah, Lucario and Scyther have also had their idles changed (Lucario in particular actually had its changed from initial trailers to now, because the screenshot confirming PLA mons via Home from months ago had it's original stance). A bit late on the uptake but it's nice that they're finally making good on the promise to touch up animations to make up for dexcut
