why would lose its eyeballs and gain a monitor with pixel eyes? it's trunk completely blocks its line of sight btw. the natural looking horns clash with the digital futuristic body. just because it's from the future it has to become mecha? I hope the other future forms are a bit more original

Kind of baffles me why they've only done this time gimmick for like 3 pokemon though. Seems like something they should have leaned on a lot more. Room for the DLC plot I guess.

I really want to like it, if you gave me the option between a Mecha Donphan and a Caveman Donphan without showing me what the paradox forms actually look like I'd choose Mecha

If all future mons have this aesthetic of LED eyes/faces then I can't wait, a full team of robotic looking Pokemon is gonna be cool. Steel is one of my favorite types simply for a pokemons base design but if we get to bypass the typing and have metallic looking mons regardless of that? It'll be perfect for me

im a sucker for the synth-y design this fella and miraidon are going for but this one has some silly parts to its design I dont like (those eyes cant see SHIT when it rolls around, the tusks still jusst being tusks feels likes a missed opportunity, etc)

It has adapted to what it's best at, rolling around at high speeds. There's no longer any use for a trunk so the "treads" coming from the back, much like original donphan's design, make a lot more sense as it's evolved beyond needing it for anything other than locomotion

You know, I never appreciated the detail of Donphan's trunk not being an anatomically accurate one since it's an extension of ita back and not a nose.
Now this design makes more sense.
Maybe that's the kind of details that separate uncreative deisgns from simple, but generally well-liked ones.
