You can only use it with one mon per battle only during its temporary super power mode. If you teach it to more than one mon on your team you've got dead move slots. Still really good but there are downsides.

i dont think the move's type is either physical or special
only what stat is used to calculate the damage
the symbol next to the type is only special
someone will need to check this with how it works on mons like blissey and steelix

Fire is the best option due to sun as another anon said. It's basically her answer to not getting weather ball. Unless for some reason they decided to give it to her now, then I'd say it becomes more dependent on the meta. Chlorophyll Lilligant might end up the best sun sweeper now though.
