Waterbros after the shitty lizard last gen and now this... I'm inclined to pick Fuecoco instead, I can't do it anymore. Maybe the water starter will be better in gen 10.

As someone who usually picks Grass (except Gen 6, fuck Chespin) I think Skeledirge is the best one too. That being said I always thought the Water starters were always solid until lately. Let's cope and say that water starters needed a few duds to balance it out

the sprigatito line is pretty good too
I guess this is unpopular here, but the final fuecoco evo looks too off to me.
The purple, weird ish flames and busy rectangles on the head kinda dont do it for me

This, not a single starter is good in this gen. I may have found the one pokemon gen I will never play.
Why can't we have actual monster mons instead of these ridiculous anthromons?! At least in gen 6 they still looked more like animals than people wearing elaborate fursuits. Gen 7 I at least enjoy Decidueye and can even enjoy primarina for what it is and still mostly looking animal like but I will never forgive them for what they did to the Litten line.
