I don't at all miss how the pokemon/character models clashed with the environment. but god do i miss the outlines. everything looks so basic without them.

nah sword and shield looked like dogwater compared to SV, the only thing it got right was the human models and stadiums, the environments looked like washed out dogshit and the Pokémon all looked like plastic

Has anyone done any dumping/analysis of the models and textures? They clearly look different, but are they yet again just the same models but with a sort of fuzzy/plushie shader over them? Or did they actually update the models or textures?

Charizard (of course) got a remodeling of at least its arms. There's actually a proper elbow and defined separate fingers/claws. Also looks like most if not all mons have updated fully modeled eyes like in PLA.

The outline really did the assets a lot of favors. I apologize, although I never really thought SwSh's Pokemon models looked like shit, just the environments.
