You meet Nemona soon after and battle her.
You encounter the mascot and soon fall into a cave, where you get out.
You then meet Arven who raised the mascot for his Professor parent and he challenges you to a battle.
He allows you to keep the mascot as he can’t control it.
After a few more sub areas, you battle Nemona again and this time she Terastallizes.
You head to the academy where 2 Team Star grunts bully Penny. You fight one. Nemona shows up and gives you a Tera Orb. She is revealed to be student council president. You then fight the other.
You are enrolled as a student and meet Jacq.
Then a few more cutscenes and you are introduced to the story beats as Nemona, Arven, and a hacker named Cassiopeia try to drag you into their story path.
You also see Geeta in the teacher’s lounge. Nemona is already Champion rank.
Treasure hunt starts after that.
