>>52003700Yeah, you clearly don't comprehend the discussion that is happening here. The problem is that the "themes" and inspirations overtook the designs entirelly in the modern gens. No longer are they monsters inspired by certain themes, now they are all specific themes attached to the bare bones of a monster. Nothing says Meowscarada had to be a cat, it could have been a fox, a rabbit, a badger, anything could have ended up becoming a magician, it literally doesn't matter what the monster is anymore, all that matters is what profession or job it will have when fully evolved.
