You know... I don't have to catch 'em all. I'm not Ash. It's not my personal goal. If I don't want to catch 80% of the mostly shit Pokemon gen 9 has given us, I don't have to.

Maybe... in the world of Pokemon, I can just be a cafe owner. Maybe I run a book store. I have a team of Pokemon that I love, I've gone on my journey, I didn't catch them all and that's okay. I caught and battled with the Pokemon I like and I'm fine with that. I don't have to like every Pokemon from gen 9 or think they're cool. I can catch the ones I like and then just chill. I am free from the clutches of the slogan.
