Galar routes sucked, but at least they were crafted individually and not using the same ugly recycled assets.

Also Galar had tons of buildings you can enter.

There were a ton to enter, but they resused massively and among them very little had meaningful content. They've massively cut down on the worth of fully enterable buildings since the jump to 3D overall, SV is just another unfortunate step in the downwards slope

What do you do in the average NPC's building anons? How long do you stay in them? How many times do you return to them? How many times have you found the dialogue riveting and worthwhile?

There's no buildings to enter, no complex routes, no dungeons to explore, no puzzles to solve, where's the gameplay?

Lumiose still is the biggest city both in outside area, number of buildings and number of NPCs.
