>>52020842>>they actually make a design that fits with gen 1 and 2 for onceDoes it though? I feel like it takes some of the worst aspects of those generations instead of the good ones. Dragonite and Tyranitar were simple but effective designs, this design is simple and uneffective, it has no presence. Dragonite was big and cute but could still have an imposing aura (though the anime tried too hard to make it edgy), but the main takeaway is that it could be powerful in spite of its friendly appearance.
On the other hand, T-Tar is cool as fuck, looks strong as fuck, is an asshole. A gigachad that has stood the test of time and is still a champ, just aces all around.
Then we get to this guy, Baxcalibur, and the design is so "nothing". It has the simplicity of the Gen 1/Gen 2 designs, but lacks any standout traits that make it memorible. Like when I think of TTar, I think "big, green, diamonds in body".
What's this guy's stand out trait? His back plate thing? His weird face? Those uh, red flowers on his hands? There's nothing to latch onto, it's not cool or intimidating like TTar, and its not cute or powerful looking like Dragonite, and this is just the first two psuedos. Next to mons like Metagross and Dragapault this guy's a nobody, come on. The fact that this is one of the first threads I've seen on him despite being a fucking Dragon/Ice psudo says it all, honestly.
