You get an additional item slot that can only be used by a new type of item: totems. They are cute little statues that have small benefits like a very weak attack of a certain type each turn, or a very minor boost to moves of a certain type.

Bond Moves. 2 Pokemon will be able to bond with each other and both learn the same Bond Moves. Depending on which 2 Pokemon you Bonded with each other, you either get a generic big damage move, or, if you paired the correct Pokemon with each other, they both get a powerful move that has unique effects and possible even a move that has 2 or more typings.

gets some new random Kuriboh every other set
Pikachu is definitely more Dark magician the MC main monster and flagship but doesn't get as much attention or support as Charizard/Blue eyes
