Or it's a reference to Mew since it's known and has been shown several times in a psychic barrier that it makes for itself to protect and conceal itself, dating all the way back to the Mewtwo movie and it's appearance as a boss in games like Snap or Pinball. With Ash being on the phone with Goh, who is in the middle of hunting Mew, when we know the next episode is completely focused on Goh and the New exploration team.
