Only Orthworm and Cyclizar.

Haven't looked much at Orthworm, but Cyclizar looks like it could have potential. Usable stat spread with a great speed tier, Regenerator, Shift Gear, Knock Off, Rapid Spin, Taunt.

Its hard to say, but Id lean towards Past Paradox being better.

Salamence and Misdreavus both look incredible, PVolc and PDonphan also look promising.

The future mons look good too though, with Jugulis, Valiance, Delibird, Treads all really solid. Just not quite the same highs as Misdreavus and Mence.

It's a setup sweeper that doesn't have to worry about burn thanks to its ability and is quite bulky despite the typing. Ice Shard does wonders for it because even at +1 87 speed isn't enough to outspeed scarf Lando-T.
It can also aggressively switch on fire and ghost types thanks to the aforementioned ability, it will be pretty fun to use.
Shame water types lost Scald, they could have been perfect setup fodders.

Posted this last thread but I'm thinking Iron Bundle, Iron Fist Pawmot, Rain Dance Sableye, either gastrodon or clodsire w/ water absorb, then a tailwind setter (considering vivilion for compound eyes sleep powder). Still need to decide on the last mon, which is tricky when we just have to guess what the meta will be like.

Scarlet operates under a beneficial weather that deals no damage to them, and they have the stats + ability to dominate the board and claim the weather war. This also directly combats the rising Ice menace with their new Snow weather, so Scarlet looks more like it'll be up in OU facing off against Ice. Real Frost v. Fire shit. All of the Scarlet paradoxes hit like trucks as well.
As for Violet, you have one or two maybe really good Para mons like Iron Hands who'll get roasted under the Sun by any good fire mon on a Pastmon team. No quiver makes Iron Moth less of a threat than standard Volcarona, who will absolutely adore the sun wars and probably Quiver Dance its way into a sweep against Ice teams easily. It's looking good for Scarlet Paradoxes.

It's not as good as sun, which gets move boosts + chlorophyll. Also I don't think Alolan Raichu is in the game, so no surge surfer. Sure they can both be active, but I think a sun team benefits from sun more than an ET team benefits from ET.

I'm iffy on this. I know everyones seeing the stats and losing their minds, but as I understand it, you need to send the mon in and retreat it to activate. That adds a lot of inconsistency, as you need to wait for a good chance to safely do so without eating shit immediately, and it also tanks your momentum full stop. It's a lot of setup, and traditionally things like this don't pan out well.

I know that the Mice were intended in the OP. But Maushold does have pretty lackluster stats imo. 74/70/75 is not an inspiring stat spread for longevity, and as far as I understand Friend Guard doesn't apply to the user pokemon, only it's allies. Without that 25% debuff, Maushold is gonna be very situational. I'd argue it might need to run Cheek Pouch, but without recycle it might not be worth the slot.

Its hard to pin, but it looks like itll be decent on Snow teams.

Its stats are kind of awkward. Massive HP, but meh defenses, and Ice type which underplays that a lot, but it gets a Def boost in Snow.

Atk is good, but no boosting moves. Great speed tier for Slush Rush, which compliments Snow playstyle again, but I dont know that it'll be hitting hard enough to justify it. It DOES get Sheer Force and Thick Fat to off set some of these weaknesses, but it has to choose which weakness to offset.

Now this means that some Pkmn are permanently nerfed outside of VGC, and the rest need to be fixed by mindless grinding. Ghost/Normal is insanely good both defensively and offensively.

The only mons that resist that STAB combo are, Zoroark itself which is immune, Tyranitar and Kingambit/Bisharp, the later are x4 weak to Focus Miss which Zoroark gets.

Zoroark's movepool is also good, on top of Shadow Ball, Hyper Voice and Focus Miss, it gets Nasty Plot, Grass Knot, U-Turn, Calm Mind, Sludge Bomb, Taunt, Trick, Flamethrower and more.

Unburden only really sees any use on Hawlucha seed sets, and forces it to play an entirely different role. You wont be running HBD, or Choice sets with Sneasler, it'll be a one-time-use, and before activation Weavile has better stats, and a more offensively oriented typing.

Unburden isn't as godly as you think it is.
