Chilling with my homies in Shield as the generation comes to an end. But I'm still hunting Ho-oh in a level ball in Dynamax Adventures as well as soft reseting for my starter in my Heartgold Badge Quest.

Very casual shiny hunter here, was looking for spiritomb in arceus all night. No luck right now, but caught a shiny geodude, skorupi, bunneary, and apex pachirisu. Kind of exhausting process but with how high the odds are it’s nice to always come back with something.

Was breeding for a minior in usum for the past 2 weeks with no luck (1.5k eggs), so i decided to put that on hold for a while and do some sos chaining. Got a morelul today, hopefully a second one tomorrow and then im thinking either dewpider or stufful line next. I fucking hate breeding so much, i havent gotten a single pokemon under odds for breeding, its always been over 1k hatches so far im actually beginning to think my game is bugged. You just need a ditto with a different language for masuda to take effect right? On another note i think the shiny forms of the new mecha pokemon in SV look really cool, cant wait to hunt them.

Apparently Kurt/Scriesm are sitting on their datamines, as Ninty's watching them like hawks. Yeah, different trainer IDs give you more chances to get an egg while different languages for Masuda method. Gotta keep trucking, you can swap to other targets if you want to break the lull and who knows you could have a quick shiny if lady luck smiles

Actually found the shw Pokemon randomly while playing Scarlet. I didn't have volume up high, but I didn't hear any indication a shiny was near like in Arceus. Has there been any confirmation about this yet? It would suck if we actually had to keep an eye out for random shinies, because some of the new Pokemon are very small

been trying for a shiny charmander with modest nature 6IVs for a month but nothing came of it after around 200+ eggs. Got all the multipliers for that 1/512 chance. But thinking I should probably just go for an Impish instead?

It doesn't really look like a bug either
I guess they just don't want shinies in overworld to sparkle anymore after PLA
