Stall dead due to heavy nerf to regen move 8pp max now compared to 16+ before
Protean/Libero dead
Ash Greninja retconned out and replaced by atk, spa and speed buff
Tons of sun support
Hail chip dmg removed and replaced by def 1.5 buff
Some electric terrain support
A lot of abilities that easily boost offensive stats
Knock off removed from many Pokemons.
Toxic removed from many Pokemons.

New battle items that facilitate or give stat boosts.

i wish, 8 pp is enough for a lot of bulky mons, of course it makes recover less spammable but still; cutting regenerator to 1/6 would have been a far harder (and better) hit against stall

Stall teams can survive with a Regenerator nerf. They have existed before Gen 5 after all.
What they can’t do is half all their recovery PP. It goes from 96/80 to 48/40 total recovery uses for the whole team (sometimes they run Dugtrio or Shedinja who don’t use recover).

stall doesn't go to ppwars every single time, it's not like they use all their recovery, and while stall exists in older generations, regenerator and heavy duty boots are by far their best tools; it would be pretty hard for old stall to survive specs lele, urshifu, rillaboom, dragapult, the UBs and so on

the recovery nerf pisses me off more than anything. now the game is going to have an even heavier emphasis on "spam super effective move to win lol" more than ever and I fucking hate it

If anything, neutral hitting moves are more worthwhile now because you don't have to be as concerned that all of that damage is going to be completely undone by one move that outlasts your move now.

Weirdest change to me is the Hail change. Not because it now gives the DEF boost, which I think is correct. But because it lost Chip Damage. BUT Sand gets to have BOTH Chip Damage AND Sp. DEF boost.
