Nah, I just replayed you. It was not that great and Battle Tower/Frontier was both irritating and unrewarding.

it was so bullshit that you had to wait for that incredibly rare department store sale just to be able to buy the only furniture piece that lets you access the extra room in some of the secret base layouts. I think that I only ever got it once.

I got around to finally finishing the Frontier.
Was close to finishing the Battle Pyramid on my 8th round but spawned in a room with seemingly no blue tile.
I walk around the corner of every room and just do the encounters I come across and if I don't see it, I move up a tile towards the inside and cover that area, rinse repeat.
But after reaching the center, no blue tile.
Did a second round of the same shit and couldn't find it.
Had to start over.
Fuck that shit.

it's not rare, it just only became available after you beat the E4. obviously a bit of a moot point with most cartridges since their batteries ran out making most clock events occur much less often.

I actively play Crystal, FireRed, and Shield. Pretty sweet combo. Gen 3 is not as good as people hype and gen 2 aged better then people give credit.
