As others have stated, it won't be a god tier monster, but its far from shit. Has a decent movelist and a good typing, it'll have a nice niche to fit in to if you want it on your team. Just don't try to make it something that its not.

it's probably not a sweeper or possibly not even a wallbreaker, but it could possibly be a bulky utility mon with like, assault vest or something that has a nuke every other turn if it feels like it. fake out is nice, skitter smack makes it even more specially tanky, knock off is knock off. not sure how good it'll be in singles, but very possibly usable in doubles

It's bulk is only kinda decent, but what's key here is that it's speed isn't half bad. It can end up outspeeding something to set screens, and then take a hit to doo it again next turn, which isn't a luxury a lot of the premier support mons of past gens had without an item to buffer the hit or explicit priority.

I’m still so stoked we got ANOTHER strong regional bird. I was afraid being a two-stage evolution line would hobble it, but they gave it a BST that’s within 10 points of both Talonflame and Corviknight and 15 higher than Staraptor, then distributed it perfectly to give it blazing speed and strong enough Sp. Attack to make good use of Thunder, Hurricane, and Weather Ball. Can’t wait to see how it actually performs competitively. It’s a great gen for birdbros.

Belly Drum+Ice Shard is probably going to be the problem one because it's still strong even if you change the weather. Banded can be scouted and reacted to accordingly at least.
It's fast and bulky as fuck under snow so it can setup semi-reliably.

I'm trying to be grounded about the mechanic, and just haven't dived into it that much. As I stand, I kind of see it like Dynamax. A support and the necessary push for strong win conditions to push through their counters, or maybe a patch up to prevent just that from happening to you. Kinda unfair how snow is the only weather that gets a weather-setting move that doesn't drain momentum, on a mon that has perfect synergy with ice types on top of that. Wish the other weathers (and terrains) got upgraded moves instead of being almost forced to run shitmons.

Aye its stats, ability and movepool are nice, it's the defensive type that stinks.
DD/Shard/EQ/Electric Tera Blast on that thing looks scary. Kyurem-B with slightly worse stats but a much better typing and movepool.

0 SpA Slowking Surf vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Iron Thorns: 224-266 (65.6 - 78%)

Cetitan functions well on its own and really there are no other good snow abusers in the game with the Arcto fossils gone so you can just run a strong Fighting or Steel type to deal with any rock type.

The problem with that typing is itìs not great offensively.
Electric+Rock is redundant against Flying, it's pointless against Water when it's outsped and nuked before it can do anything and both types have severe flaws offensively (rock is inaccurate, electric is a joke).
It needs a seriously good physical electric STAB to be viable, something like Quaquaval's signature move.

I think i found niche for Meowscarada in vgc. Type lock from protean is meh, but it can counters prankster users and mess with them. Natural immunity to prankster and powders is good for not to be targeting, but thanks for priority, cat can use its passive moves after prankster and disrupt their strategy. Not higher than NU. Has no coverage and bad physical bulk. No way to get past bulky Waters which are abundant in the tier. The lack of a movepool means you could go Tera Blast with Tera Electric or Grass but committing your Tera to this lil dude doesn't feel super worth it either way.

I odn't understand why you guys are even entertaining the idea of Chilling Water as a competitive move. I know you like role compression on walls but let's get real, 50 BP is atrocious and that's why Struggle Bug is never used. Besides stat drop moves have existed since gen 1 and nobody uses them for the stat drops because the effect can be negated by simply switching out.
Mystical Fire is used because it gives coverage to fairy and psychic types, the SpA drop is just a bonus, plus it has passable BP.
Back to Surf like in gen 1-4.

there are. healing moves has to be seen in action first, against HO or whatever it doesn't really matter much but it makes stall's matchup against slower playstyles like BO or balance much worse weirdly.

Mabosstiff will be solid as the only good Stakeout user(that ability is busted off of decent stats), Garganacl looks really solid with ana amazing ability. Gholdengo is also easily gonna be great. Scovillain will be a good sun sweeper etc. This is honestly a good set of mons

Yeah it has Rock Head & Head Smash, Flare Blitz, and I don't know what the 3rd recoil move is. Wild Charge isn't good even if he has that. It's worse than a Neutral Head Smash if it's SE (150x1.5 > 90x2)

What is spidops even supposed to DO?

It has a couple of almost interesting abilities/moves but none of them synergize with other moves or its stats. It literally just comes out, tries to slow something down and then dies?

The stakeout curse has stricken with this mon unfortunately. I guess it tries to force situations where either the enemy pokemon in battle gets knocked due to chip and speed drop or they switch out and the replacement takes a somewhat more damage
