And the fucking useless details on pokemon's faces and bodies. This gen they looked at Scorbunny's yellow patches and said "we should do this more". They don't understand that texture is what gives a pokemon a distinct presence, not the fucking random colors you slap on it just so there can be something in the back/face/whatever of the mon. They are so surface level and superficial.
Also don't forget all the memes mon, uwu cute pokemons, references sticked on something with 0 coherence or logic, just for the sake of "muh reference" and "muh cultural representation", etc.
Pokemon designs have lost their soul since gen4, however I feel like this gen every single bad decision gf ever made for each gen, mixed together in a catastrophy of a cocktail.
