Just look at Maushold's reveal, there were faggots in-thread immediately bitching "that's just clover's fucking bunnnies", ignoring the fcat it's likely because clover had rabbits shagging as a "pokémon" that they chose mice as the base animal (they reproduce as quickly as rabbits and it's not a blatant rip-off of a fan design, particularly as the VAST majority of the fanbase won't have played Clover., or romhacks in general).
There's more at play than specifically aiming o piss you off, looks like thats just a nice little bonus as a result of their curation of their brand and creatures.
